I have, on occaision, used it to De-Ice my tunnel when returning from a day on the trails
But the locals would appreciate it if you just pass through there slowly, and be aware that you are quite likely to meet inexperienced riders on rental sleds coming the opposite direction, so try to make it as easy for them to pass as possible.
'09/'10 Season - 940 measly miles

Go for it 4 Strokes.
You will not find the traffic too bad on the weekend now. Only the die hards are still riding. Last Saturday was not too bad. I also avoid weekends during the winter months, but I was there last weekend and had a ball.
