Just so you all know, the Smith River has broken through it's banks and has flooded the field next to Berry Rd in Alexandria.
Those of you who know this area. Just after you leave Walkers field going North on Corr 11, you drop through some woods
down to a field next to the Smith River. Then the trail junctions at Berry Rd, either to go North on Corr 11, powerlines to Rumney.
OR go South to Andover on the powerlines. That field known as Dot Gordon's Field is what is under water.
As there are still 6 official days of grooming left in the season. If the river recedes, then the trail will be reopened.
