sledfamily,

I am a member of the Moultonboro SMC and we have been doing a "Saturday" ride leaving form the Village Kitchen (on the RED HILL Trail,P201) at 8:00am. These rides vary form week to week in length and destination. Steve Janaitis usually heads the rides.

If I get a notice of the planned ride I post it on our web site, Winni.com and Slednh.com.

Check these sites out to see what is happening.

How are the trails? Did you get any rain? What is this weekend looking like?

We did not get any heavy rain. It was a combination of snow, freezing rain and light rain. It left a one or two inch crust. It should breakdown easy and be quite groom-able. I would think the trails in the entire Lake's area will be very good by the weekend.

All of the Moultonboro SC trails have been groomed and are in great shape. We are on our regular grooming schedule and have plenty of snow so the weekend should be great!

Yes, you can usually take off from the VK, just put your trailer and tow rig at the back of the parking lot (furthest from 25. To be safe ask inside (ask Tara, Ronda or Sheri (or Bob, the owner), They are great there, good friends of the club.
