It was down to single lanes in places and tight for 2 sled's to pass Saturday with all the new snow and drifting made it a little challenging for a normally 30ft wide flat trail.
I came upon a flipped Yamaha buried in the tree's on 112; the kid was fine and amazing the sled was too, not even a cracked windshield.

What's up with 112. I was there the 21st-25th and rode it Tue & Wed and it was not good. Everything else was perfect between SDR and Pitts. Do they not groom that often?
I find it hard to believe that the PRRSC did not groom it for FIVE DAYS, if it was cold enough to groom.
Could there have been high winds causing drifting and heavy traffic causing moguls?

Old Fart #1 was Spot-On with this prediction
I left just a bit before 7 and got back at 10 with 102 miles on the trip meter
Great ride - except for the being alone part. All my Old Fart riding buddies were unavailable today.
112 was Sooooooo wide.......
(Insert question): How wide was it?
It was so wide I was able to keep my sled out of the ditch
The groomers did a great job last night. They must have been out until after sun-up. 143W/137 was still pretty soft. And yes - I did "Tread Lightly" where the snow had not really set up yet. Roaring Brook trail from Indian Stream to Perry Stream West was my favorite today. Flat as a pool table and set up like concrete. The only track on it at 10am was mine
O-Thump aka OF2
'09/'10 Season - 940 measly miles
'10/'11 Season - 2088 miles
'11/'12 Season - 1234 miles

Was it 112 in Pittsburg or Four Mile Brook from Robert's Roost to Pittsburg?
