Ok guys I made it to stub hill at night last week. My new adventure is to magalloway bowl and fire tower. Any directions would be great. We are heading up to the berg this weekend for the snodeo and will hopefully be going to the bowl after that.

The last time we went to the tower, the path was terrible, and sleds with regular tracks and lugs will not make it up! The banks are packed so the skies are up above the track, and all it does is spin on ice. Now that was last weekend, so it might be different by now.

The bowl gets steeper as you get closer, very steep. Take your first right as you turn off of Magalloway junction looking at the bowl, then first road to the right, and second left out that road. Hope you got sac!
You really need the right snow conditions to make your attempt. Good luck.

The fire tower can be worth the ride, but it is a much more difficult ride than Stub hill. No comparison from my experience.

it seems that it is recommended to have a summit or M8 or a mountain sled to try out the bowl? Any 121ers give it a shot?

I've had a couple customers try it on 121 they made it quite a ways I think both had 1.5 lugs. Once they lost momentum they just stuck it and we all went and got them turned around and headed down with out incident. These are the only pics I could find of it

Denny: Help me out with finding this place. My buddy CATFANATIC and I tried to find the bowl last year with no luck. We we took some fire/logging roads off of 112, 136 and couldnt get there. were we on the right track? Need some good help on this if you can. ;)
