Looking for trails in the Dublin area. Would be starting just west of Dublin Lake on a small pond. There are some old sled trails , but have been down I guess since ice storm 3-4 years ago. Thanks for any help.

Hi I live on the back side of Dublin Lake in Marlborough. There are trails that are more accessible on an ATV than sled. The whole area is littered with trails, but you may have trouble getting to them as like you said, they may be over grown. I trailer my sleds to many of the local trail heads. If you have an ATV, you can head up to the Dublin Golf Club behind Dublin Lake and take Troy Road which is dirt. There are several trails that are ridable on both ATV and sled in there, but they are only maintained by us local guys in that area who ride ATV's. They are passable on a sled but are not for the faint of heart. There are bridges in them also that will get you accross the rivers. There is one trail that is called the old hunt trail that goes from Old Dublin Rd through to Stone Pond in Marlborough. To locate it you'd find Shaker Farm road on a map and the entrance is right accross from it. I would be interested to see what trails in your area you're referring to as expanding our riding in our area would be great.
