It just gets expensive for the clubs to always "absorb" the lack of registrations. Where did our hours go that got cut last year?
How many clubs are out of grooming hours?

I would say send an email to the sno shakers, then attend the club meeting.

I was curious what club is MVTR? It is hard to find time, but if everyone chipped in a little it goes a long way.

That would be two. MVTR is for dirt bikes not snowmobiles. You still need to join a snowmobile club. There are many guys that belong to multiple snowmobile clubs. They help with trail projects or donate money. If I was you I would go to more then one or two club meetings and offer to help. Then ask them about helping to fix the trails that you are complaining about.

I've heard MVTR is a good bike club to belong to. You have to realize they don't do anything for snowmobiling. Club membership basically keeps our club running. It is also the backbone to getting things done. All the trail brush cuttings, bridges, machine maintenance, and grooming are done by volunteers of snowmobile clubs. We did ok on our trail brushings this year, a couple of work parties noone showed. You can really the difference when riding down the trail.

Showung up for just one work party helps if that is all you can do. Rest assured whatever help you can give is and will be appreciated.
At Evergreen Valley is you show up 3 times for work parties you get your next years membership free. We try to keep them down to just the mornings on Sat and Sun in the fall so it doesn't blow a whole day. We have a pretty good core group that has made the trail system possible.
If you think about it we have about 7000 miles of trails in NH and almost all of it was built with volunteer labor. I haven't lived here long but I'm really greatful to those that built our system and try to do what I can to help maintain it. It does take some of my time but the thing is that without a local trail system the time investment to ride would pretty much nix my ability to ride. If I had to trailer 2, 3, or 4 hours to get to the trail I'd get out so little it just wouldn't be worth it.
So I kind of look at the time spent working as time not spent driving to get to the riding.
