I am still 'gonna send a letter to a few agencies, ( State Trails, MWW ). Maybe if they get a few letters it might help to get at least the small lot on Rt121 open, ( east side of the lake boat ramp ).

I hear ya' about last year. One ride, about 2 hrs. That was it for the entire season, one ride.

Glad to see you are getting the idea! Hope to meet up with you in the trail some day!

Very good.
But go to the meeting, introduce yourself. Ya don't have to me a member to be there. Face to face dialog is the best way to achieve results all parties involved can be happy with.

Our next general meeting is Monday Feb. 21st @ 7PM at our club house. Address & directions are on our website! As far as the comments about us making money for parking.... we make no money for parking, the $10 ONE TIME fee covers the cost of the key card and support of our security system. I am not aware of any clubs in Southern NH... or any of NH for that matter, that offers access to a gated, private parking lot, and club house 24/7 for any amount of money... tho I do not know a ton of the northern clubs that well.. Could be some up there I guess. But if this is an issue you want discussed, and have some solutions or ideas to propose, by all means come on by! If it suites you, you can get a membership and a keycard while you are there :). I have never parked at any of these lots, I always used the club house - its very nice to have someplace warm to change, grab a cup of coffee, sit by a warm fire for a few vs struggling in a icy cold parking lot. Years and years ago I use to trailer to pawtuckaway, this was such a nice change when I found it! Our parking lot is always plowed, by club officers who volunteer their personal time, and equipment to do it. If it comes down to putting $250/storm towards plowing other lots, or putting that money towards trail grooming - i will vote for it to goto grooming every time, especially when there are many other options for parking (bear brook, pawtuckaway, club house, etc).

Hey Laker, Thank You for your donation. Parking is always an issue when users want to try out different areas. I've started the dialog again at the club about parking and some potential areas. The issue of who is going to plow it and at what price is still an issue so if you anyone in the Candia area that would be willing to plow a lot at a reasonable price let me know.

OK, glad ya' got it. Next year I'll have to sign-up with ya' and get the key. Thanks for at least putting the word out about plowing a lot.

Not sure if it helps, but I "donate" plowing for the parking area in Milton. It takes about 1/2 hr to do and seeing it full of people using our trail system is payment enough! :good:

Our club parking lot is plowed by a volunteer, but he's pretty maxed out on volunteering right now. A volunteer would be great.
