9" of snow here in Northfield as of 6 pm, change over to sleet in progress. This amount should be enough to fill in the railbed Corridor 9 maybe through to Lincoln if areas like Meridith, Ashland, Plymouth got the same.
Anybody got any amounts for these areas?

I think we got about 7 or 8 inches here in West Center Harbor (about 300 yards from the railbed north of Meredith). The railbed was not rideable in my opinion before the storm (a couple of machines had been out there but it couldn't have been very good). I haven't been out since about 6 PM, but it hadn't changed over at that time here. If it doesn't change over, this fluffy stuff is going to be tough to pack and cover the rails with. If it does, we should be in decent shape (I suspect the rails will still show in places even if this gets wet and can be packed). They had not groomed the stretch between Meredith and Ashland after the last storm.

Officially raining outside now. This snow will pack down just fine now.

Except that as of last night, the groomer still hadn't been out on the tracks north of Meredith. Saw someone in Ashland on the tracks riding, looked OK but you never know if they were bouncing off the rails or what the next guy through will experience now that the trail has been broken.

Rode the railbed from Tilton through Belmont,Laconia,Meredith to Ashland on thursday right on the groomers ass. Some rail still showing but was able to avg 40-45 mph
