Conditions in the Franconia ,Twin Mtn area are the best they have been. Rode Saturday from Rumney,N.Woodstock,Franconia,Twin,Jefferson,Whitefield..............ended up back in Rumney through Warren via Woodsville all supreme! Could use a little base but I`m not complaining. Left from Fabyn`s today , everything groomed to perfection. Very low sled pressure. Rode through the Notch road to Randolph, Gorham , lunch and back, lickety split and smooth as a baby`s a--. Go out and enjoy.

They truly were awesome. Left Berlin to gorham looped pink ham b to bear spring back to rail bed to Jeff Notch. Perfect. Lunch at Fabyans and south on11 to the notch. Swung over to Bethlehem and up to Whitefield. Whitefield was disappointing with rough trails and virtually no trail signage???? Got a bit messed up with closed trails and unsigned intersections. Popped to Jefferson trails and all was perfect again to Berlin. 130+ miles with over 100 in truly perfect conditions.

I ran into the same trail closure from the other end on Saturday, found a way to weasle through Whitefield with the help of some other riders, but it was pretty tough. Closure Rt 5 Dalton...
