Not a lot of miles this week. Spent most of Saturday at the vintage race and rode 100 miles. Also rode 100 miles Sunday before leaving at noon time. Those who didn't come because of the thought of bad conditions surly made a mistake in underestimating the magic these 2 clubs can work with little to no snow.
5 out of the SDR clubhouse had surprisingly good cover

Trail 134 had some water bars around Nathan pond but was very good other than that small stretch

112 on the south end, Errols section has not been groomed and was bumpy but not demolished it also had some wind blown bare spots.
On to Pittsburgs 136 Pisgah mtn. The best trail of the week end for sure

Trail 18 in SDR by Robbers Roost. This trail was also in great shape and was fast and smooth on the way home.

Lastly 20 east at the 136 junction Again fast and smooth. Funny story here we caught another group they were laughing " HA ha there's no one here they are all in Twin they don't think there is any snow here HA HA"

There was definitely some bad stuff to navigate around. 5 north of the park is a tough go to 20. 20 west of 5 is also not very good and 140 north to where it crosses Day road is bad. 144 145 are good Deer mtn 141 was OK but rough 141 Indian stream was very good. SDR 134 and 135 and 133 were good The best route out of CSP is cross Little Diamond to 120 to Big Diamond down big Diamond to 132 to 133 to 18 to 134. It was snowing all day today and more snow forecast for Wednesday. Happy Trails

"20 west of 5 is also not very good" --This is an under statement.. This section hasn't been touched in a while, I guess because Colebrook does from 21 to the Dam, and they go up 128 - but I don't think they have been out much do to low snow in their area..

Ha Ha Well I have not made it that far west on 20 in a few years. I have only made it to the 140 juctiion this year. Lots of logging and rerouts on 20 from the 140 jct. to the 21 jct.

Just got back from Pittsburg, there was no one there .......
Denny's report is right on, trails were even better Monday.
Some of the local trails are bumpy, like 142 from Back lake to RT.3 around the Buck Rub, but I have seen worse...
Here are a couple of pics
