I was wondering if some of you would like to get together during the grass drags at Petersons next month? Put a face with a name?? I haven't been to the drags in a few years but would like to go this year. I'm open for any day. Can meet at a certain spot/time if anyone is familiar with the set up there.

The grass-drags web site has a map of the area you could use to pick a spot.

Another thought is for all sledNH-ers to wear a little home-made badge
with their screen name, and maybe the SledNH logo. That way, you could
recognize then anywhere on the grounds, and introduce yourself.

Sounds like a great idea!!! I will be going over at least one day to work one of our club members food booth (Scott's Good Food)... Will be there working all day if I am able to make it (wife may be flying out to Montana to help her mom move bak to NH that weekend though)...
COME ON MOTHER NATURE LET IT SNOW!!!

I would, but I'll be one of the working volunteers all day...

How are the organized club efforts to form work parties going ?

I'm planning on going up on Sat.If there calling for a big rain out on Sat then I'll pick Sun if it's better. How is cell service out there? Maybe it would be easier to give me a call if anyone is interested in meeting up. 978204-5024 Jim

Cell phone service is not a problem with any carrier there... if a member of "Rob's ride list" Many cell #'s are there ...rather than post it on the website...Just give a call to someone if it need's up-dating.

Good Idea on a SledNH.com hat ?

Badges could work, I've attached a sample that could be edited and printed out.

If we arrange a time and place (metaluc's booth maybe) to meet each day around lunchtime whoever shows up go go eat and visit.

I think in the sled GPS thread metaluc said he was going to have a booth, seeing as he is a member and advertiser here I thought maybe his booth would be a good place if he's willing.

In 1985, I bought a snowmobile trailer from HK Power Sports in Hookset. In 2007 I bought an Sportsman 500 ATV from them, and that was a killer-good deal. Saved me about $3k in options. The seemed like good folks back then and I'd go back and give them my business again.

BTW. We will be in the Multi-vendor Tent #2 at the grass drags. Look for our banner. All SledNH folks are welcome to meet there.

Once you get setup you should do some kind of Geocache deal! :good:
Please, join a Club where you regularly ride...and when you see a Groomer Jar hopefully give what you can as every penny counts!

Now that's a creative idea! Ideally, they would be out on the trails someplace, where the guys doing fall trail maintenance would have a distinct advantage to being the first to find them. :good:

Trail idea would be really neat.

I was just figuring that a geocache challenge may encourage some potential customers to bring their own GPS to have on hand when they visit your site...or maybe hide something out and about the grounds while you are there.

I'll be sure to stop by as I am in the market to upgrade myself...see you there! :good:
