That is definitely a dangerous move and could have easily caused you to lose control of your vehicle.

If I was you I would call Troop B at 666-3334 and ask to speak to the Troop Commander or the on duty Sargeant and report what happened.

The only reason I could think of that this occured was they were looking for someone/something in particular and your truck matched the description. That said the "alley light" or spotlight on these cruisers are extremely bright and easily cause temporary nightime blindness. That is why an officer lights your car up at night with as much light as possible. Not only does it give him an advantage seeing what's going on in the car he has stopped, but it virtually blinds a car's occupants from the officer's moves.

Please, join a Club where you regularly ride...and when you see a Groomer Jar hopefully give what you can as every penny counts!

I agree with Skip. They were probably looking for a suspect and your vehicle was a match. I wouldn't take it to heart.

I'd still give them a piece of your mind about the serious trouble that could have caused.
Enjoy it while you can, now.

I, did think of that a while after! If they are in a hurry, to find somone i can see a quick look being, better than a bunch of stops and losing time!

Lmao! Then it would be his word against mine, I don't want any part of that, my girlfriend was in the truck also, I would hate to see HER get hurt! Don't get me wrong here, I don't hate police, just think what it would be like, without them? I also think, troopers are much better to deal with then the city police! It just caught me so off gaurd and it did blind me!

My guess is they were looking for someone..( Not You obviously ). That Stretch of Highway heading North from Londonderry to that manchester split has seen WAY Too Many Accident's many multi-vehicle. Should see all the skid mark's and Rail Guard's bent in..
That area he is talking about is 55 MPH and so many are booking it at 65-70... even at 1am in the morning I see atleast 4 stops a week...
