Right on, picking up the trash!!! LOL
My buddy has rode the sled says it handles well at faster speeds, I am just no longer used to a non rider forward sled anymore!
I know exactly what you mean. I swapped sleds with a friend during a ride due to his hand warmers quitting and him freezing. The older Mach1 felt like the most awkward thing I've ever ridden . I was glad to get back on the Rev after 30 miles.

I tottaly agree, I ran the 550 around denny's to get it out of the way, I was like how did I ever ride like this? It's a sweet sled sc10 and all but after being on my F8 I felt cramped up for sure!

You wimps LOL, That is the reason I have never taken anyone up on an offer to try their Rev's, as I know I am not going to want to get back on mine :drinks:

I hear ya' snorander. I have had many friends refuse to try my rev for fear that they won't like their "old school" rides any more.

Yep, Wimp as charged . I quit riding in the mid 90s due to my back could not take it. I had the opportunity to ride in 05 and I'm still at it. :) The one drawback I find to a Rev is I don't feel as comfortable powering thrue a corner. My old indy would take any corner totally sideways and I was relaxed riding like that. Maybe I'm just getting older but I don't trust the stability of this sled like that.

Will we need spare Hyfax's for the NH Sled ride?
Enjoy it while you can, now.

Nope. We will hit enough soft stuff to be OK.

I'm not worried about my hyfax, I'm more worried about overheating, well because we all know what happened last time I was overheating

That's what I meant overheating. Last week in Maine we had problems w/ frozen trails.

There will be loose snow enough to keep things cool. Just gotta jump off and grab some when ya see it.
Since Skip bailed, and no one has stepped up to do a "slow" ride...a decision needs to be made.
Does everyone follow me and try to keep pace....or does a splinter group go off and explore by themselves?

I would think someone up there that knows the area somewhat could lead the scenic/slow ride.
Please somebody step up?
I'd be a shame and quite congested for all to go in one large group.

We have a hard time keeping track of 6 guys.
Enjoy it while you can, now.

I just want to learn my around some. That way when i come back i won't be totally lost. Well, i'm lost in my own world most of the time any way. GOD the 70's were great. So is there a count on how many people are showing up? If it's a no go we may head north to ride.

Got a belt I bought that's not right size. $20. Gates Extreme Kevlar # 43x4320 It fit my '05 600 Gade, but was just a little tight. Has about 40 miles on it. I should be at the ride Sat. if interested.
Enjoy it while you can, now.

I imagine there are plenty of snowbanks to offload on at the canoe king? I loaned my ramps to my sons friend a few weeks ago and he dropped them off in the yard unbenowst to me and now they are under 3' of snow and I cant find them  I spent an hour last night poking the snow and no luck.
