Hello Greg
I have a map and a question.
Will new maps be ready for this seasion at Pages store's ( the old one is now open also with gas).
And where is the feed into Sugar hill that will go under RT 77.
( The map below can be saved on the desktop and opened in the PAINT Program and enlarged or just double click on it )

Thanks
RayC.

Maps will most likely be updated as we have a couple of dedicated individuals who have been GPS mapping our trail system. Paiges has been one of the largest sellers of maps.

"And where is the feed into Sugar hill that will go under RT 77."

The trail will come from inside Clough as it did before the trail was closed or west for what we call Isleys field. Is that what you are asking??

My question is if this new trail is staying to the east or west sides of the control river.

Up the west side until 202.

Only to 202. I'm guessing you are then heading west from there...paralleling 202? Are you ducking under 202 at Hatfield Rd exit? Then you still have to get across the flood control area. Looks like you'll need a bridge there. If the water is high you may get screwed a few times. Then again, if we get that much rain the snow would be gone. That's what I would do. Or I would stay east and head all the way up to where Sugar Hill meets up with 202. Then you can duck under 202 there. Then parallel 89 north until you reach the flood control area. Guess I need to wait...I can't wait to see it completed.

I am not sure entirely where, but there is going to be a LEGAL road crossing on 202. In all honesty my main focus right now is at RT 77 heading towards 202. We have segmented the trail out between a few of us. I will try to find out more details about that ened of the project. I should more in the next day or so

All I saw was pictures of a bunch of guys standing around doing nothing, and a guy cooking stuff on a grill. Did you guys do any actual work? :p

Interesting link.

I don't have a GPS but I would guess they go out and GPS the new trail. Then they "lay" it on the old data they have.

I do know there's a difference in how you read/report GPS coordinates. 911 may do it different then what a club did.

I was there on Sat. Lots of cutting and even a few bridges that need to be built. The trail should be awesome when completed! Only part that sucks is crossing 9/202. If I was WWW, I would leave it for this year and try for a trail under 9/202. I would pass under 9/202 using the Sugar Hill Rd underpass.

FYI~ Be careful this winter...we'll just say there's many hiding spots for the men in green.

We had a great turnout once again this past weekend. Thanks to all who helped. If our plans workout the steel for the first bridge will be set in place before next weekend. And the second bridge should be on site by midweek. :good: I have been especially impreessed with the representation from other clubs, you guys have made the difference. :good: It also reminds me why I joined a club in the first place.

Hope to see guys again for more cutting this weekend, this trail will be extremely fast, oops I meant fun this winter

THANKS
