The DES has ordered the Boundary Pond Dam to be breached next week to prevent a possible uncontrolled collapse.

I made it up to Boundry Pond today. Met about 4-5 locals up at the pond all were extremely mad that the state took out the dam some even said they wished they had'nt come up to see it at all. I have big pics on my Facebook page so I'll just give a link.My link I actually didn't think it was as bad as everyone was saying. I still really don't see why this had to be done it just seems like a big waste of tax payer $$ too me but atleast there is still something left. Such a shame. Boundary Pond was one of my favorite spots in the north country :(
