A great way to help the Pittsburg Ridge Runners during the summer. Trail Clean Up Day we'd like to get a good turnout and a great way to meet fellow members. The other projects are great for anytime that fits your schedule (weather permitting for some).

Trail Clean Up Day June 5th 9:00 am PRR Clubhouse
National Trails Day. Let's do our part and remove all the trash on the trails. Meet at the clubhouse for trail assignments and trash bags. We'd like to get a good turnout as we have had reports of lots of trash left on the trailsystem

Install new gas water heater Anytime
We need a licensed plumber (volunteer) to install an on demand gas water heater in the clubhouse kitchen. We have the water heater.

Paint groomer drags Anytime in good weather
Several of the drags need to be painted. We will have the brushes, rollers and paint. Drags are outside, so it needs to be good weather

Polyurethane Anytime
Tongue & groove pine walls of utility room inside clubhouse needs poly

We are looking for volunteers to help out on the above listed projects. If you are able to help out, please email ,
"Pittsburg Ridge Runners" <prrscoffice@wildblue.net> to sign up . Let us know which project you would like to work on and when.

Thanks to all who came for National Trails Day. There were 10 PRRSC members and 6 Cohos Trail Association members who came out on a cloudy with intemittent rain late spring day. The rain was fairly light until heavier later in the day when the burgers and dogs were being served at the Clubhouse.

Lots of trash was collected from the trails and the bog bridging in the Falls area was completed by the Cohos members.

Even though the weather was not great, it was good enough to pick up lots of beer cans, vodka bottles and assorted snowmobile parts, lots of trail signs also.
The Cohos trial people are great and fed the PRRSC group with a nice cook out.
It was also fish free in NH day, lots of anglers out in the inlet area, and the reports were of good fishing.
Lots of wildlife sightings including Bear cubs, and a large Fox.
Curt and Cindy were very well organized, I hope to meet more
members at the next work party.
I absolutely love it any time I am up there, such a peaceful, beautiful place we are blessed with.
If you have never been up in the summer, you should make it a point to get up there.

Keep in touch John, I hope to go up again next time.
