here s a few ''bad ones ''.must be very quick and patient.hard to tell where they are going to jump in the ''pool ''.my finger was always ready to push the button.instead of using the ''visor '' on my camera , i was looking at the pool with my eyes and i just had to turn the camera where the salmons were jumping without knowning '' exactly '' were they where.

must be very fast.

i thought i had the right word for you.here at home we call them partridge.checked one reply on the pic from the gaspesie thread from an american.name is ruffed grouse.samething for us.

but the black one ,we call them ''swamp partridge ''.you see them where there s a lot of black spruce .there s a lot at my camp and there s swamps too.took the pics 100' from my camp 2 weeks ago.
