Thinking about go up to my camp in Pittsburg today and staying a few nights. The camp is behind Spruce cone cabins. Can I ride out of there? How are the trails? Can you get to Youngs?

Just got home from Pittsburgh, the area around Youngs is a mud pit, I stayed at Ramblewood, 139 & 140 south from there are bare, North of Ramblewood is awesome, I took 139 south from Ramblewood and went around 1st Conn. to 112 towards Bosbuck then to 5 north over towards East Inlet and Deer Mountain warming hut then took 147 back to Ramblewood. When I left Pittsburgh my truck thermoter read 53 degrees.

NO SNOW around Young / Dormans / Artic Cat Dealer. None-Nill-Zilch- Does that explain it?

Either pack ur gas in or plan to return to your acess point with gas as u must chose to stay away from Youngs / Dormans. I could NOT believe the amount of sleds that rode through the mud and stones to to get to Youngs. It hurt me and they are not even my sleds.

The trails are awesome from Perry Stream North...

If u are not crazy about using 1st Ct. that allows easy access to the North Country / Higher elevations, consider accesings the trails from behind Ramblewood and head North. U will not be sorry.

Leave early when the trails are crispy and frozen as the sun is strong and the trails "start" to loosen up after 8am. By mid noon the trails are like a shaved ice cone and as a result the machines are tearing them up.

Stay safe.
