The SnowSlickers do a pretty good job on those trails. Yeah, it's not Pittsburg, but for a local ride, without spending half the day trailering and $50.00 worth of gas, they are pretty good, when there's snow.

I wish they would open up more parking at Massabesic. Sandy's and the ballfield lots, are not enough, when it's busy.
Why can't they open the main lot at the lake, and both boat ramp lots on 121??? Anybody know???

Pray for snow!!!!!

It comes down to $$$. MWW doesn't plow those areas in the winter. In the past we a member that would plow the lots for cheap. We received some quotes and for a pro to do it was a couple hundred per storm, based on snow depth...

Being an open parking lot it was always a pisser to see half the lot filled with park and ride people and other adventurers.

Glad you enjoy our trail's...Have you joined our Club ? just asking ..doesn't matter which club you have joined... more secured parking at the clubhouse & a place to change into riding gear , a coffee or snack , even a meal ...

No, I don't join any club. However I might have to next year, because I am a paranoid parker. The lots at Sandy's and the ballfields will be packed by the time I get there on a good trail day, especially week-ends. I can't stand looking for parking space or parking in a crummy location.

Every time I go there, there are guys just sitting in their cars. I know they have a right to be there as much as me, but yeah it is frustrating when you're hauling a sled, and are looking to park the rig.

I would be willing to PAY for a good place to park.

I've seen some park along the road in front of the ballfield, but I don't know if that's allowed. I tried calling Auburn PD, but the lady that answered did not know if it was ok.

If you haven't been there to the Clubhouse... Might be worth checking it out. Website has a few details, but once you go there you will see many more advantage's...if local to the Manchester area. Not to mention some great people to ride with in many different time frames and level's of riding styes.

Don't know the answer. I'll guess that as long as there are no signs say no parking your ok. I think there are signs though. also this is a state road so you have State Police to contend with. I usually park at the clubhouse or right next to the rrbed off of exit 3.

At this time it would not be safe to go out on the Ice... The trails also have not been open this past week ( Gates: waterworks,Tower Hill, Bearbrook & Pawtuckaway )... I have seen that the club trailmaster plans to start opening the gates Today... But Grooming will be probably not take place... typically it's less than 8" out there and trails are spotty from the wind blowing snow off trail's possibly with some drifting..CAUTION should be used !! Pawtuckaway may get groomed in certain area's.

Rev-ed... is correct... Blinc ... Posted trail's are open and grooming has re-started on the Southern NH sno-slickers trail system...

You can go to the website for a more current up-date as the weekend approaches... Remember all !!! this is the 1st significant snowfall.. and groomer's are packing this best they can...It was light and fluffy, but a good base should be attainable...I'd still watch for some spots to have thin cover ( smaller rocks ) ... just below packed surface's.
