Rode from Meredith south on the tracks to Paugus Bay, played on the ice a little, then over to the prison loop, sled dog loop and back. Played on Meredith Bay a little on the way back. 35 miles or so. Rails showing in some places, but all in all the rails were pretty good. The club trails to Winnisquam and back on the prison loop were pretty good too. Some open waterbars, but very little snirt to speak of. The snow on the lakes is just sitting on top and will spin off right away.
BTW, when we got to the shore of Winnisquam, we stopped and talked to some fishermen. They told us that someone had just gone through the ice on their 4 wheeler about 250 yards from us. BE CAREFUL if you are heading out on Winnisquam from the prison loop-the guys there say the ice was only about 3" thick, and you could see slush kicked up by a few sleds that had gone out.

Hope it freezes up like this and stays frozen...doesn't look like it will, though.
