Sorry snorander, the furthest North I went today was Wellington State park.
Turn around there and then went back south to the Franklin Dam.
The 6 mile run from Profile Falls south to Franklin was awesome.
The conditions are not optimal in the woods, many sections pure pine needles.

Thanks for info Nox, Yeah that is usually always a great run through old hill village! Unfortunately the first few miles from the end of old hill village towards Newfound usually suck no matter how much snow there is!
OH well going to head up and make the best of it!

You obvious know that area well.
Just further north, if you take the 'Lake trail', across the street from Shop & Save.
There is an ice hill. It's taking some sleds a few times to get up it, some others
are turning back. Somehow I made it up and down with no problems today.

MY camp is about a mile past Wellington State park & I have a trail that dumps me right out on 11. SO I took 11N to the Hebron Store for breakfast. From there headed to the power lines, then north to sculptured rocks (Fantastic strecth of trail no other sleds, smooth and fast) the north from sculptured rocks back to the powerline to Rumney took 153 (Ithink) off the power lines to PLymouth (Again great stretch of trail only passed on sled till I got to Plymouth). Cut accross Plymouth to the common Man headed south on the RR tracks (8S I think) which was my big mistake of the day...but only had to tide the rails for a few miles and then onto the Bridgewater trails back to Newfound Lake. Worst part of the ride was 24W from Bridgewater to Hebron. There were logging in there down to mud & rocks and no other way to go, Did 70 MIles in about 4 hours overall can't complain it was a great day, alot better than I expected!
