I was reading the Loudon ledger and there is a proposal from the NH motor speedway for a Snodeo at the speedway. The event would have snocross and ice drags. Also, it should be trail accessable. Hope it comes true. The whole story www.loudonnh.org.

I heard about this from a buddy who works at Prinoth a month or so ago, but they weren't certain if it would happen or not. He made it sound like they wanted to make it big. They definitely have the space for it if it does happen.

That place is plenty big enough for the event.Does this mean the track owner has gotten more friendly twords sleds? In the past there was rumor he was not a fan.

From what I've heard the actual event will not take place inside the track. It will happen in Lot L which is the lot just South of the track. They did a lot of reconstruction last year and there's plenty of room. They might even be able to use the lights if need be...Stay in touch and we'll know soon...

It would be like a winter bike week instead we'll use sleds. That would be great if you could sled to the event!

You'll be able to ride to it for sure. There's a town meeting on 12/17 to dicuss the event further. Apparently there are some neighbors in other towns who think this event might bring in riff raff of some sort....man can't please everyone.

Knowing some (OK - one) of the sledders in Loudon, I can see where they would think that...

Fiff Raff???

Could sledders have a lower standing than NASCAR fans?

I would call it a step up all the way around. What are they worried about?
