An additional trail across Rte 16 has been opened and signed. If you leave the tracks behind Walmart and cross Rte 302, go to the right of Pines Motel, follow that until you cross Eagles Way (high school), then you can cross Rte 16 between Sunbridge and Shaw's way. Carefully go down and behind the L.L. Bean complex and return to Trail 19 on Saco River trestle. The whole crossing is approximately 2 miles. PLEASE NOTE: BOTH CROSSINGS ON RTE 16 ARE EXTREMELY BUSY WITH LOTS OF TRAFFIC SO PLEASE, PLEASE USE CAUTION.
I was put on this earth to do 2 things -- kill people and chew bubblegum, and right now I'm out of bubble gum.

Thanks for the update. I did see a sled crossing there on Friday afternoon. That crossing seems like it will be easier than down by Mcdonalds. I took off out of Conway last Tuesday and rode North. C-19 was freshly groomed and in great shape. Thanks for your hard work.

Is there a light at this crossing? The one at McDonalds is a hoot sometimes when the cars stop in the crosswalk where the sleds actually have to cross. Some people are so dumb its actually sad.
Here's the scenerio that gets played out time and again: Hey..... I wonder what this snowmobile is doing pointed across the road at the intersection. Could they be waiting to cross the road? Lets pull all the way up past the line anyway.
