Saw THIS neat article about a snowmobile museum over in Maine.

Interesting reading...also mentions our own NHSA's museum.... :good:

Thanks for the link to that article, it was very interesting reading about how that collection occurred.

The article doesn't do it justice, however! I was there with a member of the Vintage Race committee last summer and was very impressed with what I saw. I went to a swap meet and Vintage Show there and wasn't even aware the museum was there. Upon entering this huge warehouse that is very well lit, you notice the sleds stacked four high in tiers and one thing that absolutely amazed me was none of them were even the least bit dusty.
Multiples of rare 3 and 4 cylinder King Kats, Sno Pro Ski Doo's, Rupps, you just can't believe the the quantity of what your seeing and the quality of the how they have been restored.
If you ever have anything remotely to do in that area of Maine its worth the trip to see what this collection is like, its simply amazing!

You're welcome...

If anyone is interested, today's print copy of the Sunday Union Leader has a full written story about the museum along with some neat pictures! :good:

(plus there's some good coupons for the 99 restaurant inside)

I drive by every weekend going to Rangeley. The owner Paul ran the Wildcat Arctic cat dealership next door many years ago.
Really worth a stop on Rt4 in Turner just north of Lewiston/ Auburn. No admittance!
