My friends wife has the tiniest hands I have ever seen,,,, and has had issues with them... thumb throttle is not a very easy option for her. has anyone ever heard of sleds with a twist throttle?

I have heard they are a bit dangerous on a sled. There is an option out there that pulls the throttle with a lever similar to a brake lever on the throttle side or used to be available. I haven't seen them in a while, not that I have looked.

An ATV throttle would work real nice, but I bet the pull would be to much.

My wife has the same problem, after talking with several people a twist throttle is not a good answer due to a sled not being the same as a MC. I did talk with people that had the twist throttle and they said after one use they removed them.
I did find a Throttle Flare for my wife and it helps some. It can be found in the 2009 Parts Unlimited web site and then you order it through one of thier dealers. It cost around $13 and you only need a 1/8 drill bit to pre drill he throttle control.
Cabales does sell a thumb twist throttle but I have not ordered it yet, I think it works where the twist is done with the thumb instead of like a MC. Tell him good luck. Happy Trails yo all.

There are a couple of add ons to go over the throtle for short fingers.

I have one on my atv, works good most of the time but on a
rough trail its hard to hold it steady. but a 1 cylinder 4 stroke
dors not respond like a 2 stroke. It can be dangerous...
