I ride there quite often. There are some nice loops off corrider 5. i would also ride in Westmoreland if you are going to be in that area. We have a nice 90 mile loop we take from Winchester to Walpole and back. Not a lot of big wide trails, but the smaller ones are nice and both clubs do a great job maintaining. You can also access Pisgah State park from there.

Hey Nor' easter The trails in Walpole are in pretty good shape... I live in Walpole and I am a member of the Walpole Club and was out yesterday and the trails where in pretty good shape (there was alot of traffic yesterday so not sure if they where groomed last night or not!!!)... You can get a copy of our trail map and Westmoreland map of of our websites ours is hooperhillhoppers.com and Westmorlands is www.westmorelandsnobelters.com also if you are riding out of Walpole going north on 5 into Alstead and take the trial out of Alstead that goes to Charlestown and Fall Mountian the trails there where very good Friday (morning and evening)... Enjoy the trails and if you want get in touch with me sometime and I might be able to meet up with you and we can ride!!!! Sorry I would have posted sooner but I was off for the past 4 days and I don't have a computer at home!!! I will PM you with my phone number if you want to contact me!!!

The riding was very good overall, there were quite a few sleds out enjoying a bright sunny cold day.
Thank you to everyone for the replies and information.... that is real reason I believe.. for these websites, I find most people to be well informed and truthfull in there postings..
a valuable tool for clubs .....
I will add that I have seen many thing's on the trails before, but Sunday's ride provided a first ..
On Trail 4 heading towards Keene, there was a group of rock - ice climbers climbing on the ice that formed on the rock faces, they looked like they were pros ..very cool
Thank's again and let's hope for some more snow......
