We are headed to the Balsams for the first time this year for the Ride In. It sounds like it's a good time. Any comments from people who have attended this before? Thanks.

I attended several Ride Ins during the 80s and 90s, always had a good time. This year should be especially nice due to the Balsams being located in the heart of some of the finest trail systems New England has to offer with usually the most snow as well. There are usually events such as radar runs, poker runs , ect. Trails tend to get beat up due to the crowds but those clubs in that area will do a fine job without a doubt. Have a great time for a worthy event. :good:

The Balsams is rolling out the red carpet for the event and it should be great!

Be sure and check out the Colebrook Vintage Race on the 7th (Saturday), it is shaping up to be a huge event, and you might get to see some old guys racing through their second childhood (maybe third).

Something worthy of note, speaking of the Balsams, is members of the vintage Race committee recently met with the mountain manager to lay out plans for a Spring Mountain Vintage Madness Rally being held at the Ski Area April 4th, and a dollar from each $5. spectator ticket will be set aside for the Easter Seals. This was a great gesture from them and the committee looks forward to this "spring" vintage event when we probably wont have to worry about freezing to death. We have a closed course race planned, a hill climb and maybe even a small water cross.

Hope to see you there "Bridge Royalty!"

It should be a good time. I've been going to the Ride-In for maybe 20 years or so. It's going to be a learning experience for both the Ride-In committee and the Balsam's staff this year. Snowmobiler's at a 5 star resort. Should be fun.

I'll be one of the two Ride-In chairman running his mouth up on the stage. Come up and introduce yourselves.
