No temp sensor or idiot light on this fan jobber ski-poo I picked up.

What's the danger zone temp wise for these fan jobber sleds?

Thanks

Much more tolerant to warmer temps than liquid cooled, other than lubrication on the track you could ride into the summer!!! Good idea to keep a spare belt for the Fan as well as the Sled.

Fan cooled engines are not prone to overheating; look at your lawnmower! The only thing that warm weather will cause is it to run pig rich.

I know about that fan belt now! Burnt down one side last year when the fan belt blew

You simply cant go wrong with a fan cooled sled, or atleast have one as your backup sled for those days when snow conditions are low and/or going for early season rides. Many people prefer fan cooled sleds altogether, though they typically produce less horsepower. Comparing apples and oranges here-
If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got, and then one day you’ll find yourself in second place. Stay focused.

Don't ask me about MY fan cooled 550f. :banghead: Let's just say I have now grown much fonder of my liquid cooled.

Nope, roof is fine so far . However - I DO need my two trailers (clamshell and open trailer) dug out and put in the driveway so I can take them up to Maine next week. :) PM me for details....Thanks, Triple.
