Conditions were terrific this past weekend in SOS and OVSC land. I had the pleasure of riding many of the new SOS trails which were painstakingly cut by work crews during the off season, and they were fantastic. I even took a ride up to the chimney, which had just been groomed and was a really nice ride (though I flipped my sled on the way back down after catching my right ski on an exposed boulder which I neglected to see until it was too late!).

I also visited the OVSC snack shack for the first time yesterday, and wanted to say "thanks" to the crew who were manning it. The cup of hot chocolate tasted especially good when coupled with my cigar and the roaring campfire. Deluxe. Well done, everyone.

That's because the volunteers around here are the most dedicated people I know!!
No disrespect to other clubs, but I don't "know" the volunteers in the other clubs, so my comment stands!

No doubt about it. The airstrip was real nice, I don't know what's up my ZR but that thing is running like a top this season. It seemed to grow legs and really pulls hard at 65+, could have been the 4 seized bearings and 3 junk wheels I found.

I was going to swing up to the clubhouse on Saturday but had to meet a friend at WLSP. :drinks:

I'll be there with the ski-doo 550f. Be sure to have lots of spare parts on hand, since I've blown two cylinders on the airstrip already...
