Does anybody know about the RR tracks from Canterbury to Tilton? In years past it has been groomed wide, but today it was a single track with 12-18" of snow on the sides? I'm not sure who grooms that area, I know it is not the Snoshakers. Not sure if there is a problem, or more importantly, who can I contact to help if needed?

Gotta stay up on top of the rails until the base is built up. If it keeps on snowing it will get wider

T-N Arch Trail Travelers, Inc has groomed it in the past, I'd assume they are waiting and hoping for enough coverage to be able to groom over the rails......

According to the Belmont Bogie Busters, they list that trail (Corridor 9) as closed. I assume they may have a part in the grooming. I rode it last year twice and it was groomed, in fact, passed the groomer BOTH times I rode the trail. It is GREAT and quick when groomed. You can ride right into Tilton, goes behind Applebees, Sahws, etc... and we took it all the way into Laconia. I think it is a joint deal between Canterbury, Belmont, and TNA.

Well I never would have ridden it if I thought it was closed. All the RR signs said it was open Jan 5-Mar 15, so I just assumed it was open. There was a lot of traffic, all signs except one stop sign was up. The only place the rails showed was where some yahoo ripped it up.. Guess I'll wait a few weeks & try again.

Does anybody have a web address for Tilton/Northfield Arch? Non of the ones I have seem to work.

according to the Belmont Bogies, Corridor 9 is now open. There must have been enough snow to groom :)
