Here's the transcript. And this is why I think riding in below zero temps is a bad idea. Accidents happen, even though these people might have done it to themselves.

Two people suffered serious injuries in separate overnight snowmobile accidents in Barnstead and Henniker.
Cory Slosek, 20, of 382 Ray Road, is in the intensive care unit at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon where he is being treated for trauma and hypothermia, according to state Fish and Game conservation Officer Delayne Brown.
Brown said the exact time of the accident is unknown but investigators believe Slosek, who was not wearing a helmet, was outside for about an hour after the crash. The temperature was minus 17-degrees Fahrenheit at that time, according to Brown.
Slosek was riding his snowmobile alone around 12:30 a.m. behind his home. Brown said family members, friends and neighbors became concerned when he did not return home and went out looking for him.
Brown said Slosek's friends found him about 1:50 a.m. on the shoreline of Upper Pond. They brought him back to his home, which is next to the pond, and called for help.
Slosek was airlifted to the Lebanon hospital.
"Right now it appears that speed is a factor," Brown said of a preliminary investigation.
The snowmobile, he said, apparently crossed the pond but then missed a connector trail for the main snowmobile trail around the pond. Slosek apparently was thrown from the snowmobile when it crashed into a tree.
The other crash happened about midnight off Route 107 in Barnstead.
William Brown, 42, of Loudon, was taken to Concord Hospital after his snowmobile crashed into a tree , according to F&G conservation officer Justin Ferland.
Brown was with three other snowmobilers when he crashed. Ferland said he also was not wearing a helmet.

Sorry Lisa, you are wrong. Mr. Slosek was transported to Dartmouth via the Helicopter. If Mr. Brown went to Dartmouth, then he went after he was seen at Concord Hospital.
- Pat, Concord
Helmets- who needs them. Lets try to figure this out. Motorcycles average road speed 50 mph. You crash, pavement hard, trees hard. No need for helmet there. Snowmobiles, average trail speed 40 mph. You crash, snow softer then pavement, trees hard. Snowmobilers need to wear helmets. Not rocket science here, must WEAR helmet. EVERYONE!!!!!!
- DJ, Goffstown
The story regarding Brown's accident is not accurate. He was the one to go to Dartmouth and he was wearing a helmet !!!
- Lisa, Loudon, NH
I onder if they intend to charge these people as well as the lost hikers. hey, the States broke. get our money any way you can. It costg an average of $1000.00 to ride one mile in an ambulance.
- Bob Ahern, Derry
So Thomas Thorpe of Portsmouth is now a fellow snowmobiler and concerned for our saftey? Based upon his previous posts to this fine new paper he must have the seen light and come around to our side... much appreciated Thomas. Or, this is extreme sarcasim at the expense of 2 injured people which is in itself highly distasteful and immature. You decide my fellow reader's!
- Dan, Goffstown
-17 degrees, no helmet, the middle of the night, umm HELLO isn't this just asking for trouble. I hope they get better but next time use a little common sense would ya!
- Josh, Manchester
Too bad about these folks, my heart goes out to them. Please wear your helmet my fellow snowmobilers riders!

It appears that there was another sled accident today/ tonight in Westmoreland. WMUR had a report about it at 11. It is being blamed on speed and inexperience. Just soooo sad. It does make you wonder.
WESTMORELAND — A man was injured Saturday after crashing a snowmobile into a tree off the side of a trail in the woods.
N.H. State Police Trooper J.C. LaPointe, who was on the scene Saturday afternoon, said, “It seems like (the man suffered) serious injury.”
LaPointe said he had no more information about the man’s condition.
The man, whose name LaPointe didn’t know, was taken to Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene.
In addition to state police, the Westmoreland and Keene fire departments responded to the crash, which LaPointe said happened around 4 p.m.
The man had been with some other snowmobilers when he collided with the tree. The crash site was about a quarter of a mile up a hill from Route 12, according to LaPointe, across the street from Mac’s Market and Pudgies Pizza & Pasta.
The N.H. Fish and Game Department is handling the investigation, LaPointe said.
