i HAVE 2 t660 CAT TURBOS. I am constantly having to take them back to my dealer with bearing problems. Wondering if others are having the same problem. Dealer tells me that Cat knows of the problem, but has not attempted to find a fix. Any ideas? These bearings are on the front shaft, both sides and the top one in the chain case. Thanks for your help. 603-922-5050.

Grease them every 500 miles with a high quality greas that is a high pressure and has a high tolarance to water. The Cat dealer tells me that it is common to have a bearing failure every 3,000 miles or so. I did however notice that the last bearing I put in nolonger has the plastic inserts in them to seal the bearing but now has a steel inserts with a crankseal type lip that rides on the centre bearing race (supplamental part#). We'll see how long that one lasts.
