Four of us parked on Depot Street in Boscawen, fuled up and headed out on the railbed to corridor 11S to try to make it to Daves bridge. Got a little mixed up on corridor 11S in Boscawen due to several intersections and no signs. Once we backtracked and made a turn we sound found ourselves back on 11 and on the way to the new bridge. Arrived at the new bridge, shut the machines off and took some pictures. What a difference this bridge makes to the area....again Dave :drinks: , you are the man.

From the bridge we headed up through Tooky village, across the covered bridge and towards the KTS suspension bridge. Stopped just over the bridge, a few more pics and a phone call and we wre on our way. Something about trail 3 on the KTS system makes me smile HUGE, it was smooth, flat and fast today and you can see the snow covered mountain in the distance.

Got to the overlook on Kearsarge, stopped for some more pictures, then on to the top. We attempted to go to the summit but that goat path was rocky and we said the hell with it.

Back down the mountain, to 345 and up through Salisbury and on to Andover. We hit some awesome sections of trail and again, a huge smile across my face. Reached the junction of 345 and 2 and took a break. Headed out towards Franklin and got back to 11 where we got gas. Turned around and headed back up 11 and up to the Webster lake overlook trail where we stopped for a short break. After the break back down to 11 and towards the trucks.....the railbed was AWESOME.......smooth, flat and FAST. Skully damn near dissapeared ....was like watching the millenium falcon go into light speed..LOL :clapping:

Got back to the trucks just after 2:30 and after just about 100 miles. Overall the trails were great. Some better than others and some just plain AWESOME...Thumbs up to the clubs in that area, other than the tough lack of sinage in Boscawen the trails were clearly marked and groomers had been out.

Awesome day of riding, glad I took work off

Friggin AWESOME day !
Thank you to all the sleddders that did not show up to ride on the almost 100 miles of trails we rode.
Other than 2 sets of 3 riders and one single rider, that is all we ran into.
Almost stopped to ask them WHAT they were doing on our private trail .... LOL ....
Dave thank you soooooo much for the bridge and your time !
Also thank your club members on doing a FANTASTIC job taking care of Cor.2 (the R/R bed).
In 10 years of riding that area I have NEVER seen it so FLAT and smooth.
Lets just say it was so nice SOMEONE could do almost triple digits on it ;)
And no I won't let you see my TOP speed that my new GPS posted ..... LOL .....
I will try to post some video of Dave's bridge that I got before my batteries
went dead because of the cold. Yes sledders you all keep heading North to
Pitts & Twin cus the trails in Central NH really do suck ..... LOL .....
I just LOVE sucky trails .... LOL ....
I am d/l our ride on the GPS and will post a map.
Rob .....

Very CLOSE !
I remembered some of the trails from riding from his house to the R/R bed (Corr.2).
At one time I thought we were headed to his yard ... LOL ....
I should have put a Waypoint on my GPS of his house and rode to it !

I think the single rider you passed was me. I was trying to do a loop from Henniker to Andover over to Sunapee and back. Only made it to the powerlines on 345. Ran out of time. Going to try it on Sunday when i have more time.
