Wondering if trail 26 to wolfboro coming from 22 in wakefield is open checking it out on the state map looks like it would be a nice loop from Ossippe to wakefield over to wolfboro to 15 then back to ossippe now that sandwich trail is closed looking for similar ride. Thanks for any help Tom

I did that loop a couple of times last year and it's a great loop and slsc added the new cor.22 extension from 22rail bed to ovsc's corr.19 rail bed, a nice short cut back. Hopefully we get more snow this week because rails are still exposed in a lot of places and with the cold coming this week lakes should be safer but still use caution.

WE tried to do it last year but could not find the 26 intersection from 22 someone had said they lost the trail. We had to go across lake wentworth to lake winni not knowing the lake that well it kind of sucked till we found the trail off the lake to 15 to get back to ossippi. Also when we were there it was real slushy and the fishing derpy was going on thousands of people on lake and no one knew where the trail head was including fish + game guys, but other then that it was a great ride.Like to do it again with out the lakes. Had same problem on winni a few years ago ,first time got lost after that stopped at miss wakefield diner for a slsc map, then one at wolfboro snack shack on cor.200 powerlines, then ovsc's map at canoeking and dont forget a offering for the groomer god jars. All depends on conditions at the time. Right now need more snow for the rails. Corr19 rails just love to eat plastic skis.

Seven Lakes new trail Corr.22 from Ossipee Corr. 19 to the K trail in Wakefield is open and rideable we just finished the last bridge. Its rough in spots and needs work next year, a foot of snow will work wonders. This trail makes a great loop from Wakefield.
