Just did a quick ride today. After we hit Alan's of Boscawen. You can ride right up to the front door. Had a KILLER porterhouse special tonight. Might be the best steak deal I have ever had! :yahoo: 24 0z., YEAH 24 OUNCES, salad, fries, and veggie... $19.95! :drinks: Steak was so tender, the waitress forgot a steak knife, NO NEED! Cut it with the table knife! :good:

I just finished a homedone fillet mignon ummmmm. Last November a bunch of us went to Merlinos in Conway and I don't think anyone had a good meal. My wife got the $29.00 fillet and it was like cardboard should've went to the Parka in Glen!!

I will DONATE all the steel panels ($120,000 to buy them used) to reach across the Merrimack,,, and show you how to put it together... you have to cover the REST, transoms, swaybraces, rakers, hardware, and deck
I think the crew is up to THREE counting you the way I see it... AND I think I know of an engineer that will donate the engineering

We used to stay at the Sportman's lodge and after a Saturday ride we would sit down for a outstanding Prime rib and talk about our rides with the other guests. :good:

On the OVSC trail system, I would vote for the "China Diner" next door to the Canoe King. The Crab Rangoons are absolutely fantastic. You can ride right up to it.

How was the trail to Alans? We went down that way last year but turned around, the trail was just brutal.

If you get to Corridor 11. head south to Boscawen. Go past the ball field and oil depot. You will ride the rail bed right to the end where you have to take a right and head uphill. You will cross route 4 and head uphill some more. You will come out a the gun shop (forget the name). Go straight, and the trail bends to the left. Follow that about 500 yards and Alans is on the left.

If you drop at the traffic circle in Manchester and ride the sno slickers trails! I can tell you for a great steak and cheese Sandy's has it! Also in that same circle there used to be a great dinner place, the name escapes me now but right there as well!
I bet you all thought I was gonna try to sell you a Baconator! LMAO!
