It's funny how people who have lived in new England all there lives forget how to drive in the snow.
i bet it was all because someone was in a hurry to get nowhere. :nea:

My brother and I were suppose to head up to Groveton today but something else came up. Instead we were going to go to Bearbrook State Park for a quick ride around 9am. We come from Dracut, Ma (N.H Border) which is right next to 93 and we would have been right in the middle of that mess if we would have left on time. Lucky for me I had to shovel out the girlfriends house and ran late. Then as we were about to leave we heard about the crash and put everything away. The happiest I have ever been that I was shoveling at the time.

So after watching the videos on TV it would seem to me that a majority of the drivers were from Mass. :poke:

As much as I would love to comment on Mass drivers, and the cause of the carnage on 93, everybody out there was very respectfull and helpfull to those of us working out there. Their willingness to help or just stay out of way made our job easier. There were many acts of kindness that happened before we got there that will go unnoticed, but its nice to know there are still some nice people out there willing to help others.

I saw that yesterday morning go across bottom of news nine screen... I was just going to shovel/snowblow like 8 am, no details were in yet .. Boy it didn't look good and about 60 cars, suv's,bus, tractor trailers... the person said. At the time they didn't know a State Trooper was already there & placed flares, before it all took place...
The State said they had plowed but ran out of salt and was heading to barn to get more... one guy said he was doin 50 mph.... What the heck ... Very unfortunate for many ...
Insurance comminissioner said Tonight " Everyone should deal with their own insurance first then it will get filtered out who owe's back who...could take a month..."
