Accuweather is predicting snow. Was 2 to 4 changing to ice in the forecast this morning. Now their map is showing the Ossipee area in the 6 to 12 range.
Keep an eye to the sky!

Spend a day on a work crew with your snowmobile club. You'll meet some real wackos (an experience not to be missed) and you'll sure to do it again just out of a sick sense of curiousity!
High performance motor sports and booze don't mix. Nascar drivers drink Coke NOT RUM AND COKE. Over every hill and around every corner is a Mom and Dad, Grand parents and little kids trying to learn the sport. Ride accordingly. RIDE RIGHT! Pay Attention out there!

Mark, those fools couldn't predict water if they fell out of a boat. But hope springs eternal!

Well I am watching it closely cus I was STUPID enough to work a half day on last Wednesday's storm.
So here I am working in Cambridge figuring there would be no traffic LEAVING the city, just people
comming in for 1st Night. Noooo ..... I run into friggin idiots doing 25 mph in the fast lane on a
4 lane (8 lanes total - Rt.2 in Belmont, MA). The 1st two lanes had hardly anyone in them.
I think the idiots THINK they can drive fast in snow and once they get out into the PASSING lane
they are scared SHITLESS to get back into the SLOW lanes where they belong.
This time I am gonna just work from home ! Thank gawd for computers !

If this is true I think I will bang in sick on Friday and go up to White Lake or Twin Mt. Haven't been up there for quite awhile. Been sledding mostly in Maine up until 2 yrs. ago. Just bought a new tnt and I'm dying to try it out!!!

HA! Would be my second ever trail ride also!! I rode the SOS trails december 23, and it was sweet! We rode on the abandoned(?) airstrip and there was like 2 feet of powder :clapping: I felt good about all the powder being it was my first run (and it was wide open with no trees!)

Bottom line, New England is just too tough to predict, as Matt is saying 1" I am hearing 2-4" for the same area in CT. I prefer wunderground.com for weather. They tend to be a bit more accurate but it's always a crapshoot for what we really will get....Mother Nature, surprise me. :pardon:

Yeah, my first New England winter was last year, and I learned one thing: They do not really know what the weather is going to do from day to day. They are pretty good at predicting when a storm will come, but snow amounts? forget it.

Your favorite Accuweather is forecasting snow on Saturday and next Wed also. I know...I know, to far out to predict but hey we can hope they get it right.

This current storm has the ice/snow line all over the place. I just hope there isn't much ice with this one that'll damage the powerlines for folks again.

Here comes the ice for most of us. Looks like a good snowfall coming further up north.

weatherchannel.com has us forecast for 1-3 inches in Ossipee, while WMUR says 6-10 inches ??? I would be content with 4!
