The cruisers have been flying through Tamworth all morning. The roads are shut down in Conway Village.

Hope they get the guy quick. What a shame. To much violence
Spend a day on a work crew with your snowmobile club. You'll meet some real wackos (an experience not to be missed) and you'll sure to do it again just out of a sick sense of curiousity!
High performance motor sports and booze don't mix. Nascar drivers drink Coke NOT RUM AND COKE. Over every hill and around every corner is a Mom and Dad, Grand parents and little kids trying to learn the sport. Ride accordingly. RIDE RIGHT! Pay Attention out there!

Yes, there is way to much violence going on around the world today, its out of control.
What I think should be done, no more trials, no more prisons. When people are caught after comitting such violence acts, they should have the same done to them, instead of being protected by courts and bars.

Unfortunetly, I got caught up in it all today.
I left camp in Tamworth around 12:30 this afternoon to head up to Twinn Mt. normaly a 45 min ride, I got there at 4:30 pm!
I was not aware what was going on at the time, I wanted to go through North Conway to get something to eat, what a mistake.
Just as you pass West Side road, that is where they closed Rt 16, we was rerouted all the way around and came back to rt 16 near Wally world. (Walmart)
There was a cop on the side of the road with a shot gun every 1/8 mile or so for the 3 mile detour with Helicopters buzzing around also.
When I stopped to get something to eat in North Conway the waitress told be what was going on.
If I lived near there, I would load up my shotgun and sit out on a lawn chair waiting for the looser to pop his ugly face out of the woods and then pop, all done, No trial! No Prison.

Then I get to Bartlet, just where Westside road comes out on rt 16, another 45 min backup doo to rebuilding the 2 bridges.

I got so discusted with the whole deal, I picked up my sleds and headed home, another 4 1/2 hours.
Did they catch the person or persons yet?

Sad situation. Sucks that these things happen, I've been there quite a few times perusing the items in the store.

the scary part for me is that the wife and I were camping up in Andover (up south arm rd) and we were coming back down through fryeburg and there was a hitch hiker on rt 113. well I remember hearing on the radio in the AM (I was half asleep but you are kinda taking in some of the info) that there was a shooting in conway and the suspect was still on the loose. I would have normally stopped, but I did slightly remember the story. We could have been goners. I dont know if it was him for sure, but he was too well dressed to be walking with a thumb up on 113.
