FYI folks, left out of my house in Bow yesterday evening to try to make it to Kearsarge to watch the Lunar Eclipse and found that the crossing into Contoocook commons is closed with Police tape. The water has risen enough to take my boat through ! The trails north from Turkey pond are hard and granular with bumps and the snowbanks at Diamond Hill and Currier Rd. are challenging to say the least.
