you get off 16 and go through the center center past the rail crossing where the little diner is, i guess its called moultonville rd. then follow it up the hill then take a right on ossipee mtn rd. follow that for a couple of miles then there is a horse trail riding place on your right with a road called pindermill rd that is about 1/4 mile long then ends and at the end there were sleds heading down the trail, i talked to a few people and they siad that it went bown to the pizza barn, i was wondering if anyone has been riding in that area because i had looked on the local trail maps (ovsc) and didn't see any trails between 15 and 19. like i said i am looking at property up there so any help wuold be appreciated. i haven't seen snow like that up there in years!

Up there you'll have to follow a local until you know where you can and can't ride without trouble...I could be wrong, but I think a lot if not all of the people up that way ride sleds...or did. If there's a trail down to C-19 (I think I know the one) you're golden. I believe there's a trail that could get you to C-15 @ "the marble place" where the town road crosses the lovell river..that is the trail crossing right there. On the town road that's about 4 miles deeper into the ossipee mts from where the real estate is, about the same to Rt 16 @ the pizza barn, dirt roads. If I have your directions right, the asphalt ends right where pindermill rd is..I had friends who lived on that rd, and I know Perley @ the horse stables...
I think you're OK for access from there, but no "legal" trails. In time, if it's feasible, the OVSC could might attempt a trail up through that area. I think the locals would support it..

Thanks for the info about the area, the property is across pindermill rd from the stables, and of course outdoor activity is the main reason for purchasing property up there. although it did seem odd that there is such a large area up there with no club trails around?

Mts make it hard...OVSC has 60+ miles just north of you in Wonalancet. You could be on OVSC trails in minutes from Pizza Barn, SOS trails about 2 minutes after that in Freedom, or go south to SLSC trails, or even over Mt Shaw to points west. Lots of riding from Ossipee.
