Took the wife and kids for a small day trip to OVSC country on Saturday. We parked at the Canoe King and headed North.....ended up at the SOS Clubhouse for lunch. Kids had a great time since they had chips out on the table when you walk in. Headed back from the SOS clubhouse and got somewhat lost (I was too cheap to buy a map!). Ended up back at the truck around 3 PM.

Trails were OK, since the weather was a balmy 40*! but there was plenty of snow and no open water or mudholes to deal with, so overall a good day.

PS: I wanted to mention that while we passed our fair share of sleds this weekend, everybody seemed to be under control and courteous, which was a nice change.

Same for us on Sunday. Traffic was light, but everybody was riding where they should have been

I was also out there with the wife , were you the one riding triple on the cat? We also left at 3 pm wife and I riding polaris. Trails were nice considering the rain the day before.

Yes, 2 year old in front, 6 year old on the back.........they both did excellent! First real ride with the Seat jack installed and all three of us on the sled.

Jay, Do you have a pic of that set-up? My son is getting too tall and his helmet is whacking me from time to time. I think it's time for him to make the move to the back.

thats always an interesting time with 2 kids on the sled. I'm finally out of that statge, sons on his own and daughter prefers to stay home with mom but between making sure he didn't fall off and she didn't hit the kill switch as she fell asleep it was always an adventure with 2.

Ajak make sure he doesn't wear an MX helmet riding behind it's like a bird pecking you in the back everytime he gets bumped around. I put my son on the back about a month after his 5th b'day because he was never one to fall alseep, only one time did we hit a bump on the trail hard anough that I worried about him there and he still hung on.

Thanks! How do you like it? Easy to add/remove? How do they mount onto the sled?

He's got a full face helmet thank goodness. They have those built in grab handle belts that you can wear around your waist for the kid in back to hold onto....have you ever used those before.

I used that the first year all the time then he got big enough to use the handles on the Doo plus 1 seat,

Love it so far! The seat comes on and off in about 30 seconds. You have to drill holes in the tunnel and add the brackets, but they do not interfere with anything.

Try to find a used one on e-bay or from another snowmobiler online, new it will cost over $600.
