Skip hasnt been pres for many years and isnt actually involved any more. Bob Crichton, Steve Landers, Jeff Copp and Paul Roberts are probably our longests active members.

Is this sled or car racing? We're looking for sled drags.

They are car races, and awesome at that! The club has the Winter Carnival happening, and that has sled drags. It's on Feb 16th.

You know, hopefully the Moderators here can change the title of this thread to Milton Auto Ice Races. I am sorry for the confusion by posting on a snowmobile site. Point taken

Racing starts at Noon with warm -ups at @11:00 am,
and we will be done before sunset....should be plenty of time to get home to watch THE game!!

As a courtesy please stay off the plowed areas.....its all for saftey sake.

I remember in the late 80's running a car out there,One sunday while munching on a burger my partner cassualy asks me "how many cars in our class?" I answer oh around 20,He says how many in the stock class?Another 20 or so I say,and how many mods?about 10 is my reply. So, he says.....50 race cars,50 trailers,50 tow rigs,Spectators lined up two rows deep all around the backside of the track,a schoolbus parked just outside of the pit area selling burgers, Sleds everywhere and they are worried about turn four being thin Ice and not to spin your wheels to much if you wind up in the snowbank??
