Glad you liked the trails! Hopefully the ice races will start next Sunday. All lakes are safe for sleds, though. Groomer will start once thre ice races start. Thanks for putting the trail map up on the kiosk!!

As the VP for the Milton ice racing club, I can say that the races won't be for a couple more weeks, we need a few more days of Mother Naturers' cooperation in the ice making department. We wil not hold races until there is 12 inches of GOOD ice and if you can remeber back a few years ago you'll know why.

If you want more up to date info you can call the Ice Line at 603-652-4423 or visit the website at www.ne-iceracing.com.

Thanks for the trail updates and the interest in the ice racing!

can be done in about a hour if you take the right route.

hey guys . got some questions on the trails down that way. headed out of sammys in tamworth down 18 to the greenery. continued down 19 over pine river pond. over to wolfboro by lake wentworth and the trail dead ended (old train station?) . headed back up and took and trail to the 7-11 which i think was a deadend service only. so tryed looking for trail #26 (is it closed?) but couldnt find it so headed across lake wentworth towward lake winni. and lake hopped across (winni was pretty slushy) and finally found trail 26 . up toward the wolfboro snack shack . over to pollys crossing and back up 19. is there a better way? and was there a trail closing the around lake wentworth?

thanks ED

You need to keep going on the railbed to Wakefield. The trail takes a right off the bed and does a loop over Moose Mtn (26).

I was with him and we were coming from Wakefield looking for 26 to Wolfboro snack shack then to pollys crossing but the only way we could find was across lake wentworth to lake winnie I think we hooked up to 26 off of mirror lake but the moultonboro map I have shows a trail going from wolfboro center right to the wolboro snack shack did they shut that trail down. thanks for any info.Tom

The trail dead ends downtown. You have to go out and around on Winni to continue.
