Got a quick 50 miles in tonight on Corridor 19.....awesome burger & beer up in Albany at "Almost There" and a cruise all the way south to the Mtn. Greenery.

Passed Oldtimer in the Tucker several times, he was doing an awesome job grooming those tracks as smooth as a baby's butt. Great job OT....thanks for the personal dragstrip!

One weird thing, blew a belt on C-19 just north of Silver Lake. Only took a few minutes to change, but at leat 8 or 9 sleds blew right by before someone offered to stop and hold a flashlight.

Oh well.....

Anyway, lots of sleds out there until about 9 PM, then I had the place to myself!!!

Glad I came up a day early....... :good:

Please, join a Club where you regularly ride...and when you see a Groomer Jar hopefully give what you can as every penny counts!

C-19 is as nice as I've ever seen it these last 2-3 years, only 2-3 sections where the rails are exposed enough to notice. This next storm should have it in prime shape.

I agree, the tracks have been a dream! Any chance of seeing you this weekend?

used to be sledders took care of each other, now it seems like it's more and more all about me. You never pass a sled with a hood open without asking if they are OK unless they already have a bunch of people with them.

I have found it to be that way myself not many stop and ask if your okay? Maybe it was because there was two of us two sleds, but still why not check and see I wouldn't just keep going!

I always stop if a guy is by himself and the hood is up. I know how it is b/c I ride by myself a lot too. Even if the guy doesn't have his hood up and is just sitting there I usually slow waaaay down, wave. This way if he's stuck he could easily get me to stop.

Good burgers there my wife enjoys their Margaritas, Funny you should mention the "help" thing.....I was out the other night stuck on a hill. While detaching the drag and getting turned around some guy comes down the hill pulls a hockey stop next to me and starts telling me about a waterbar he got stuck in and such...While trying to form a answer in my head I look at this guys sled and he is'nt even registered. When I mentioned this to him his answer was why pay to ride trails full of waterbars and took off.

I love to hear stuff like that... I've been snowmobiling for 20+ yrs and I love to see people riding the trails without even being in a club. One of the best things that NH ever did was follow VT's lead & make everyone join a club or pay a ton of money to register. Also nice to see the Fish & Game wardens out on patrol... Running radar!! He will get his as soon as he meets up with the men in blue! Good luck unregistered guy riding around on club trails! Get ready to pay the big fine!!! =@ Keep up the good work of grooming! it never goes unnoticed! :good:
