1-16-08: Consider the trail system conditions Early Season Riding. The trails have been groomed in most areas, but there islittle base below them. The trail from Union to Middleton us ungroomed and has MANY water bars. Also, the trail fromTownhouse Rd to Northeast Pond (through Mi-Te-Jo campground) will NOT be groomed until the lakes are safe enough for the groomer!

Park n' Ride is open daily 8AM to 6PM, Weather/conditions permitting.

Went out 1-16-08 for about 2 hours trails were not to bad, went up to where the new trail goes off to the right to union and turned around there.
up to that point trails were not bad a few wet spots but over all fair to good.

You rode on the best area of the trail system. Union to Middleton is terrible. union to Moose Mtn is still pretty good.

Check in here or on www.evergreenvalley.org before you come up. If we get rain tomorrow, you might want to hold off.

The park and ride is located on rt 125 at the town beach across the street from the post office, about 1 mile from the center of town. A lot of people have been parking at the citgo gas station which is closed for the next couple of months. The citgo station is just before the town beach where the park and ride is.
The reason the park and ride closes at 6:00 pm is it was a request of the police department because of vandilism by kids.

Went out this afternoon went north up to poor peoples pub, trail through the camp ground still a little rough but once you hit the end of the lake trails are excellant smooth very good job grooming, only found a few minor washouts on the way but easy enough to get around all we need now is a little of the white stuff and trails should be around for a while.
