Just wondering, how is the trail from Lead Mine Road to the clubhouse holding up? Any problems getting to the clubhouse this weekend for the chili cookoff? I'll be traveling with women and children so large water bars could be a problem.

At present time, the trail is passable, the are some washouts but passable.  We'll be out all week filling and packing.  With Friday's storm we should be in good shape.  The base held up real good but the washouts have been a problem all year, the cold weather might finally get to them.  The trail is twisty and slow careful riding is the norm anyway.  I'll give you an update when I get back in tonight.  The trail has not been groomed since the new storm, this afternoon we'll be heading in that direction.  Also be careful on the powerlines and the calumet trail requires focus

Im hoping to have a full report on the SOS system, if the administrating company would stop putting us on hold on the phone for an hour everytime we call to fix it. All of the sos trail conditions are not current as of today.
If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got, and then one day you’ll find yourself in second place. Stay focused.

Thanks Tim. Do you need the Danforth Bay crew for trail work this weekend? If so I'll see who I can round up.

That would be sweet!! We want to mess with those nasty washouts on the new mtn trail. We have some temp culverts and need to get our hands on some hay as a filler, then shovel snow on to it and drag over it to pack. Will try to get it done for the weekend. We have some cutting back to do too. We're waiting for some landowner permissions for a couple of reroutes that we will need a hand with soon. We need to open up the Goe hill trail somehow to get a second trail to the clubhouse again.

I was shocked how good the powerline were considering the exposure, outside the skidder crossing and the small washout right before you go back into the trees it was really good last weekend.
